The Immigration Office (IO) is the largest directorate-general of the Federal Public Service Interior (FPS Interior). It is specifically responsible for applying Belgian government policy on managing migratory flows. The OE is responsible for applying the law of 15 December 1980 and the Royal Decree of 8 October 1981 on the entry, residence, establishment and removal of foreign nationals.
