Below you can find the most important data provided to Eurostat by the IO on returns, under Articles 5 and 7 of the Regulation (EC) No 862/2007 on Community statistics on migration and international protection.
In the course of the year 2022, the links to the various data will be gradually supplemented to take into account the new data available as a result of the vote on Regulation (EU) No 2020/851 amending Regulation (EC) No 862/2007.
The methodology used is documented on the Eurostat website.
Annual statistics on this theme are updated to complete the data from the previous year within 3 months of the end of the reference year. The quarterly statistics shall be updated to complete the data of the preceding trimester, within 2 months after the end of the reference trimester.

- Third-country nationals who have left the territory as a result of an obligation to leave - annual data (rounded)
- Third-country nationals who have left the territory and gone to a third country as a result of an obligation to leave the territory - annual data (rounded)
- Third-country nationals who have left the territory, by type of return (forced, voluntary and other) and nationality
- Third-country nationals who have left the territory voluntarily, by citizenship
- Third-country nationals who have been forced to leave the territory, by citizenship
- Third-country nationals who have left the territory, by type of assistance and nationality
- Third-country nationals who have left the territory and gone to another country, by type of agreement procedure and nationality
