Below you can find the main data supplied to Eurostat by the IO regarding "the number of third-country nationals found to be illegally present in the territory of the Member State who are subject to an administrative or judicial decision or act stating or declaring that their stay is illegal and imposing an obligation to leave the territory of the Member State" based on article 7 1. a) under the Regulation (EC) No 862/2007 on Community statistics on migration and international protection.
In the course of the year 2022, the links to the various data will be gradually supplemented to take into account the new data available as a result of the vote on Regulation (EU) No 2020/851 amending Regulation (EC) No 862/2007.

Annual statistics on this theme are updated to complete the data from the previous year within 3 months of the end of the reference year. The quarterly statistics shall be updated to complete the data of the preceding trimester, within 2 months after the end of the reference trimester.
