Overview of the different important dates for beneficiaries of the Withdrawal Agreement

Below you will find an overview of the most important dates for beneficiaries of the Withdrawal Agreement:

• 1 February 2020: start of the transition period
• 31 December 2020 end of the transition period
• 1 January 2021: start of the application period
• 31 December 2021: end of the application period
• 31 March 2022: date on which all valid old residence cards (E/E+/F/F+ card) of UK nationals and their family members automatically cease to be valid.
