The certificate attesting to the lack of any convictions for crimes or offences under common law


As a general rule, any alien aged over 18 years who wishes to stay for more than three months in Belgium produces a certificate attesting to the lack of any convictions for crimes or offences under common law.

 

This document must have been issued by the competent authorities in the country of origin or provenanceduring the six months prior to the lodging of the application for a visa or leave to remain.
